A: On-board Wi-Fi is a wireless car mobile network provided by golo³ connector so that you can connect the Internet on the car.

Q: How do I retrieve my on-board Wi-Fi password?
A: The initial password of the on-board Wi-Fi is 1234567890. The password retrieve function cannot be used now.

Q: What is the name of on-board Wi-Fi?
A: The on-board Wi-Fi name is in the format of golo_xx…xx. (xx…xx indicates the 12-digit serial number of the golo connector.)

Q: Why I cannot find on-board Wi-Fi?
A: Please ensure that the golo connector is plugged into the DLC and the car is woken. If all is OK, please replug the connector.

Q: What is the function of Trial?
A: Trial is used to experience some golo functions, including IM and part of map service functions, without signing up. The system automatically assigns a user an account to log in. The user can be a formal user after buying and activating golo connector. Also, the user can go back to login page and finish sign-up process to become a formal user.

Q: Can I retrieve my password?
A: Yes! To retrieve your password, you only need to enter your received verification code and a new password. The old password is not involved.

Q: What can I do if the login failed?
A: Please check whether your network setting is correct, your account and password are correct. If all are correct, please uninstall golo App first, then download and install again.

Q: How can I find the required serial number and password to activate connector?
A: Please check the envelope within the golo connector packing box.

Q: What do I need to input during car configuration?
A: Based on the car brand, you need to input VIN, car model, transmission, engine number, year model, and displacement.

Q: Can I change config file?
A: No. Only one config file can be downloaded for one car. Please select with caution.

Q: What is the function of binding garages?
A: After you bind a garage, the fault and mileage information about your car will be automatically sent to the garage, and the garage will provide you with services at first time.

Q: How many garages can I bind? Can I unbind?
A: You can bind only with one garage. Yes, you can unbind the garage anytime as you want.

Q: What kind of problems can be detected through remote diagnosis?
A: Usually "Remote Diagnosis" function can detect all systems of your car, read DTCs and data streams.

Q: Why do I always fail to initiate remote diagnosis?
A: To initiate remote diagnosis, the following conditions must be true:
a. Corresponding config file has been downloaded for golo App.
b. golo connector has been plugged into the DLC.
c. golo App has been connected to golo connector.
d. Network works properly.
e. Your car is in idle state.
If all conditions are true and you still cannot initiate remote diagnosis, uninstall the current golo App and install the latest one. If failure resists, please contact the after-sale personnel for help.

Q: Where can I initiate remote diagnosis?
A: You can initiate remote diagnosis in the following ways:
a. Tap "Messages"- "golo Assistant", or "Contacts" – "My Technicians", find a technician, and request for remote diagnosis.
b. Find the bound garage official account from "Contacts", select a technician, and request for remote diagnosis.
c. Request for remote diagnosis through "golo Assistant" or "golo Car Life". You can select nearby, recent, or recommended technicians for remote diagnosis.
d. Search for technicians through "Map Service" and request for remote diagnosis.

Q: Why I cannot initiate remote diagnosis to some technicians?
A: Please ensure that the technicians to who remote diagnosis is requested are online and in idle state.

Q: Why I cannot initiate remote diagnosis for my selected car?
A: Please ensure that the car to be remotely diagnosed has an activated connector and has been configured. If the preceding conditions are true, and you still fail to request for remote diagnosis, please check whether the golo connector works properly by referring to the LED indicators of the golo connector.

Q: What is the use of diagnosis report?
A: You can save the diagnosis report for check and analysis at any time, share it to Moments or Maintenance, or forward it to friends or technicians.

Q: What kind of problems can be detected through car inspection?
A: Car inspection is mainly used to inspect four electronic control systems, including engine, A/T, airbag, and anti-lock braking systems.

Q: Why do I always fail to perform car inspection?
A: To perform car inspection, the following conditions must be true:
a. Corresponding config file has been downloaded for golo App.
b. golo connector has been plugged into DLC.
c. The device installed with golo App has connected to golo connector.
d. Your car is in idle state.
If all conditions are true and you still cannot initiate remote diagnosis, uninstall the current golo App and install the latest one. If failure resists, please contact the after-sale personnel for help.

Q: What does the car security alert include?
A: The car security alert includes fault alert, anti-theft alarm, and driving behavior.

Q: When do I receive fault alert messages?
A: golo Assistant sends you fault alert messages in one of the following conditions:
a. Your car has DTCs.
b. The water temperature of your car exceeds 100℃.
c. The indicator of tire pressure lights.
d. The voltage of your car is more than 15V or less than 11V.

Q: When do I receive anti-theft alert messages?
A: golo Assistant sends you anti-theft alert messages in one of the following conditions:
a. The door, window, light, or trunk of your car is not closed after the car stalls.
b. golo connector is illegally wakened.

Q: When do I receive driving behavior messages?
A: golo Assistant sends you driving behavior messages in one of the following conditions:
a. Your car suddenly speeds up, slows down, or turns.
b. Your car has been in idle speed for more than 20 minutes.
c. Your car is driven consecutively for more than 4 hours.
d. The speed of your car exceeds 120 km/h.
e. Your car has not been inspected for more than a month.
f. golo connector has not wakened for a week.

Q: Why I cannot receive alert messages from golo Assistant?
A: Check your network setting. If your network is normal, please replug golo connector. If you still cannot receive alert message, contact after-sale personnel for help.

A: You can use map service to search nearby information, share traffic condition, set e-fence, query driving record, and location.

Q: What information does the driving record include?
A: The driving record includes the travel date, start time, arrival time, departure, destination, total mileage, total driving time, average speed, average fuel consumption (per 100 km), and total fuel consumption.

Q: Can I query more than one car's driving record at same time?
A: No. You can only query one car's driving record at one time.

A: golo Assistant sends you a daily-travel alert message at 00:00 every day.

a. All: All your friends can view your posts.

Q: What is golo Assistant?
A: golo Assistant is a service official account used to push messages, get feedback from users, inspect cars, remotely diagnose cars, monitor driving behaviors, make one-click calls, and so on.

Q: What is the difference between bind garages and follow garages?
A:
Bind garage: A user has followed the garage's official account and bound the garage with golo connector. After binding, the garage can push messages to the user, automatically obtain the user's car faults, maintenance expiry, and send remote diagnosis request to the user. The user also can send remote diagnosis request to the bound garage.
Follow garage: A user has followed the garage's official account but has not bound the garage with golo connector. After follow, the user can receive pushed messages from the garage but cannot receive car faults or maintenance expiry information. The garage cannot send remote diagnosis request to the user, only the user can send remote diagnosis request.
